Elements and Performance Criteria

1. Set machine
   • Set up machine in accordance with defined procedures
   • Adjust machine to meet specifications and operational requirements
   • Measure first-off samples for compliance with specifications
   • Identify worn or damaged tooling and change, as required
   • Instruct machine operator, if necessary, on sequencing settings and any required safety procedures
2. Determine job requirements
   • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)
3. Comply with work health and safety (WHS) requirements at all times
4. Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with SOPs
